Die LP sollte, wie Siloah, auf German Blues & Underground erscheinen, doch es kam nicht dazu. Lediglich einige wenige Metallazetate wurden gefertigt. Eine echte Ausgrabung. Bluesig, mit Flöte. Farbheft von 28 Seiten.

The LP was planned for release on the German Blues & Underground label but nothing came of it. Only a few metal acetates were manufactured. A real find. Bluesy, with flute. With 28-page coloured booklet.

Die erste Gruppe auf dem Münchener Kleinstlabel German Blues & Underground, wo auch die beiden Siloah-Platten veröffentlicht werden sollten, war Pentagon. Erst erschien ihre Single, doch die LP kam nicht über das Metallazetat hinaus, eine abspielbare Zwischenstufe bei der Herstellung. Immerhin wurde eine Kassette davon herausgegeben, und deren wenn auch schlichte Hülle war die Vorlage für das CD-Cover. Auch wenn sie damals noch sehr jung waren, spielten die drei doch schon anerkennenswerten Bluesrock, und vorliegendes Stück mit Flöte ist ein Genuß. Die Seite 2 der LP stammt vom Mutterband, Seite 1 wurde digital entknistert. Im Farbheft von 28 Seiten findet sich auch eine weitestgehend vollständige Diskographie und Labelgeschichte von German Blues and Underground. Eine Ausgrabung ersten Ranges, knapp vor dem Verschwinden bewahrt.

Pentagon was the first group on the small Munich label German Blues and Underground, which later on also released the two Siloah records. The first Single was supposed to be followed by an LP, but it never got beyond the acetate stage, a kind of demo pressing. A music cassette, however, was released, the simple cover of which was used for the CD. Although very young at the time, the three musicians already played respectable blues-rock, and this track featuring a flute is pure enjoyment. The tracks of side 2 of the vinyl album were taken from the master tape, the tracks of side 1 were digitally decrackled by Cedar’s NoNoise system. The 28-page colour booklet contains a probably complete discography and history of the German Blues and Underground label. It’s a first-class find, saved from oblivion in the very last minute.
