Die erste Platte der Dortmunder Gruppe (ex Faces), aufgenommen 1972 in den Hamburger Windrose-Studios. Vom Stil her vergleichbar mit Frumpy, nicht nur wegen der Sängerin. Blues-Einflüsse sind hörbar. Wenn man es nicht besser wüßte, könnte man an eine englische oder US-Gruppe denken. Auch Janis Joplin klingt an. Alle Stücke wurden von Sängerin Chris Braun geschrieben. „Both sides“ bekam den Deutschen Schallplattenpreis in der Kategorie LP-Cover. Bisher gab es von der Platte nur eine illegale Luxemburger CD-Ausgabe von 1996 auf dem Germanofon-Label.

The Dortmund group's first album, recorded in 1972 at the Windrose studios in Hamburg after their name change from Faces to Chris Braun Band. Comparable in style to Frumpy, not only because of the female singer. Blues influences are audible. If you didn't know any better, you might think of an English or US group. A touch of Janis Joplin can also be heard, if you want. All the songs were written by singer Chris Braun. "Both sides" won the German Record Award in the LP cover category. Until now, there was only an illegal Luxembourg CD edition of the record from 1996 on the Germanofon label.
